Sebring West Automotive Center is the central San Joaquin Valley's one stop automotive center for all of your automotive needs. Sebring West is a full-service repair and automotive parts store at 1744 N. Blackstone in Fresno, California. 

   Tony Pasco and a friend started Sebring West in January, 1971 in a 4000 square foot shop on McKinley Avenue in Fresno. Tony started specializing in foreign car repairs, an area of the automotive industry that was just in it's infancy, years before the gas crunch that brought a flood of foreign cars to American consumers. 1975 brought the opening of a small parts department next to the service area. The inventory was all foreign parts with a majority of the stock geared to Tony's first love, the air-cooled Volkswagen engine. Back then the VW Beetle was one of the best selling import cars around, and Sebring West soon became known as the leader in air-cooled engine repairs. 

   By 1978 Tony had to expand his parts department. The parts shop on McKinley was bursting at the seams; it was time to grow. Two and a half miles away Tony opened a 7000 square foot parts department. This one, like the McKinley store, was located just off of Blackstone, Fresno's "Business Boulevard." With two stores now, Tony added more employees and slowly began the process of changing from mechanic to full-time owner. 

   In 1985 Tony aligned himself with a nation wide marketing company called CARQUEST. This move added American parts to his inventory, and gave him access to a local warehouse where his employees could buy parts. This increased overall parts sales and provided Sebring with a way to give same day service for hard to find parts. 

   By 1989, Sebring West had grown out of both of its locations. Tony was looking for a permanent home, one that would grow with the business. He found a building right on Blackstone that had once been home to a local Buick dealership. They combined both stores under one 20,000 square foot building, a monstrous task that had fantastic results. In this new automotive center, four departments ran under one roof. 

   Twenty-one years later, as Tony brings his company into its 36rd year, Sebring West is going stronger than ever. We encourage you to stop by and let us take care of any of your automotive needs.
